Dynamic Simulation

This is a standard Inventor tutorial that uses pre-made parts.

The assembly model and parts are included in this 8MB zipped file:

Dynamic-Simulation-1&2.zip

Instead of following the first page of instructions (which are based on locally installed tutorial data), simply do the following:

Unzip the Dynamic-Simulation-1&2.zip and then open Reciprocating Saw FINAL.iam in Inventor.

Now carry on with the tutorial steps on the Autodesk site. (As below)

Notes

Watch out - the conversion to Dynamic Simulation is pretty clever, but not perfect, because it is converting from a constrained assembly to a dynamic simulation.

To do this this, constraints are converted to joints, and some of these joints need to be guessed.
