If you use your iPhone to keep track of client meetings or other business appointments, syncing your calendar with others is a good way to ensure that everyone in your organization stays on the same page. Using iCloud you can sync your entire calendar with others, limit the sync to your business calendar, or even sync calendars devoted to specific projects. You can provide others the ability to add to the synced calendar or give them read-only access. Setting Up iCloudStep 1Launch "Settings" on your iPhone's home screen. Step 2Select "iCloud." Enter your Apple ID email address and password in the appropriate text fields if you haven't set up iCloud on your iPhone before. This should be the same Apple ID you use on this phone to purchase apps, music and videos. If you don't have an Apple ID yet, tap the "Get a Free Apple ID" button. Step 3Tap the "Calendars" button to turn on iCloud for the Calendars app. The iPhone displays the message "Turning on Calendars." Wait a few seconds for the message to disappear. The iPhone's calendar is synced with iCloud. Step 4Ask the person who owns the second iPhone go through this same process to sync its calendars with iCloud, using his own Apple ID. Syncing CalendarsStep 1Tap the "Calendars" icon on your iPhone. If the app opens to a specific calendar, tap the "Calendars" button in the upper left corner of the screen to see a list of your calendars. Step 2Look for the calendar you want to share in the iCloud section of the list. Tap the blue "Arrow" beside the calendar name. To share all of your calendar entries, tap the "Calendar" arrow at the top of the list. Step 3Select "Add Person." Type the Apple ID email address used on the other iPhone. Tap "Add." This sends an email or an onscreen notification to the other iPhone. Step 4Wait for the other person to accept the invitation. By default, he now has editing permissions, meaning he can add or delete entries to the shared calendar, which will appear on both iPhones.
