= 0.140674 kg/cm2 .

Question 4: Force of 2-kilo pounds acts on a surface of area 10 in2. Find the pressure in kg/cm2. 

Solution:

Pressure in PSI = 1000/10 PSI

= 100 PSI

(Converting 100 PSI to kg/cm2 )

= 100 × 0.070307 kg/cm2

= 7.0307 kg/cm2 .

Solution:
